Smithtown Christian delivered that message loud and clear Saturday, beating Westfield, 8-4, for the program's second straight state Class D baseball title.
The Knights beat previously undefeated Fort Ann, 6-4, in a semifinal game Saturday at MacArthur Park. They play the winner of the Oriskany-Westfield semifinal for the championship Saturday at 4 p.m.
